Greek pottery and Farmer’s Market Wednesday!

It’s glaze time in Ms. Monica’s class!  The beautiful Grecian urns and plates and pottery that our visual campers have been making are gradually making their way through the process of bisque, glaze, and fire.  Bisque is the initial firing process that removes the water so that pots may be glazed without crumbling.  After that they can be glazed and go through the final firing process.  And to think all this time I thought bisque was just a type of soup!  🙂

Today our Afternoon Adventures gang went to our favorite farmer’s market again.  I’ll include a few photos below of a few of our past trips.  We always leave with smiles, good food, and new knowledge about bees, plants, and organic food!
