Day 2 in Ancient Greece

The exploration of Ancient Greece continues in Ms. Monica’s clay studio, where campers are working on name plates and sculptures of animals and mythological beasts.  In the process, they are learning about different kinds of clay, glazes, and the process for taking their masterpieces from lump of mud to finished product.

In Afternoon Adventures today, campers were serenaded by the violin skills of local artist Eric Pritchard.  He played us some Bach, Beethoven, and the (much beloved) Mozart while the campers listened, danced, and followed up with lots of questions.
